Whiplash page
Whiplash injuries are the most common road accident related injuries. Being soft tissue (muscular) injuries whiplash is notoriously difficult to predict in terms of how long a recovery may take.
As whiplash is caused by a throwing forward of the head and neck and then a corresponding jerk of the head and neck backwards, these injuries are commonly associated with a vehicle being hit from behind. Effects of these injuries vary greatly but symptoms can include constant or intermittent painĀ :-
- In the neck region
- Headaches
- Strange sensations or loss of sensation in the arms or hands
If you have suffered a whiplash injury it is important that you visit your doctor for a diagnosis and if the injury continues to trouble you, to return to your doctor regularly and to be amenable to any suggested help such as physiotherapy which will hopefully clear upĀ the problem.
Instructing us at an early stage will assist any claim you may make for your whiplash injury. We can arrange for specialist medical help for you to aid recovery and deal with your claim swiftly, efficiently and on a no win no fee basis.
